"Tank Traps" Dug Up Again

Recent activity by TimberWest has sprung up at the Doumont Rd entrance to the logging roads once again, creating yet another challenge for local recreational riders wanting to enjoy the local lakes and surrounding areas.  The popular entry point of the tank traps was dug up and blocked some weeks ago and local riders managed to successfully blast their way through it.  TimberWest has responded with yet another attempt at blocking this regularly used entrance.  :

I'm afraid it's not going to work TimberWest!  Maybe something more like this is needed.

  1. Christ that sucks! I'd like to say good post, but I can't believe, that in an attempt to stop a few doughnuts in the dirt, some very occasional vandalism (admittedly by Neanderthals) Timber West, in essence, respond in-kind by vandalising what is in essence Crown Land Lease. I hate to give them ideas, but surely a gate on the new bridge prior to Boomerang would have been more effective. Not that I believe they have the mandate to become feudal lords.

    1. Hey Ron! Great plan... :) a shovel would come in pretty handy these days, although I'm thinking a backhoe bucket attachment would fit the bill a little better! Let's try one on your bike first!

    1. No chance unless you have a backhoe or bulldozer! Won't be long... Someone will get through with a quad or bike in just a short while, and then the trucks will move in. ;)
